A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF GRANT AGREE-
MENT WITH FEDERAL GOVERNMENT; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO IMPRESS THE OFFICIAL
SEAL THEREON UPON AS MANY COUNTERPARTS THEREOF AS
MAY BE NECESSARY; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE PROPER OFFICER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO FOR-
WARD THREE COPIES OF SAID AGREEMENT AND OTHER
RELATED FORMS AS REQUIRED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT AT JACKSONVILLE,
FLORIDA, ALL RELATING TO HUD PROJECT NO. WS-FLA-
248
WHEREAS, the City of Miami, Florida, organized and
under and by virtue of the Laws of the State of Florida
after called the "Applicant"), has heretofore submitted
existing
(herein -
an ap-
plication to the United States of Ameria, acting by and through
the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (hereinafter
called the "Government"), for a grant under Section 702 of the
Housing and Urban Development Act of 1965 for the purposes desig-
nated in said application; and
WHEREAS, the Government has approved the said application
subject to certain conditions and has submitted to the Applicant
a certain Grant Agreement (herein called the "Grant Agreement")
for approval and execution by the applicant which said Grant
Agreement is satisfactory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the said Grant Agreement, a copy of which
is attached hereto, be and the same is hereby approved. The City
Manager and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the said Grant Agreement in the name and on behalf of
the Applicant, in as many counterparts as may be necessary, and
the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to affix or im-

press the official seal of The City of Miami, Florida, thereon
and to attest the same. The proper officer of The City of
Miami is directed to forward the said executed counterparts
of the said Grant Agreement to the Government, together with
such other documents evidencing the approval and authorization
to execute the same as may be required by the Government, all
relating to HUD PROJECT NO. WS-FLA-248.
