HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-43209• CITY MAMA CER -MIAM! `72 407P4 4:24 RESOLUTION NO. 9L9tO A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED JANUARY 20, 1972, OF LOU'S TAILORING AND UNIFORM COMPANY, INC., FOR FURNISHING POLICEWOMAN'S SLACKS FOR THE POLICE DEPART- MENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, AS REQUIRED, THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1972, AT A COST OF $18.50 PER PAIR, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS THEREFOR, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. WHEREAS, bids were received on January 20, 1972, by the City Manager and City Clerk for the furnishing of police- woman's slacks for use by the Police Department of the City of Miami, as required, through December 31, 1972; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of Lou's Tailoring and Uniform Company, Inc., is the best (acceptable) bid and recommends that the same be accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid received January 20, 1972, of Lou's Tailoring and Uniform Company, Inc., for furnishing policewoman's slacks for the Police Department of the City of Miami, as required, through December 31, 1972, at a cost of $18.50 per pair, be and the same is, hereby accepted. Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami to issue purchase orders for the items described in Section 1 3 "DOCUMENT INDEX F .t.3 2 ITEM �f NO.
