Hannon City Clerk Date: May 20, 2026 Subject: Civil Service Board References: Agenda for June 11, 2026 Enclosures: List of members, Memo from Executive Secretary Subject to the approval of the City Commission, the Civil Service Board was created to adopt, amend and enforce a code of rules and regulations which shall have the force and effect of law, providing for appointment and employment in all positions in the classified service, based on merit, efficiency, character, and industry; and to make investigations concerning the enforcement and effect of this article and of the rules adopted; and shall make an annual report to the Commission. Based on the attached memo by Tishria Mindingall, Executive Secretary, Civil Service Board, Commission -At -Large has three (3) appointments for seats currently held by: 1. Rafael Cabrera, incumbent, whose term expires on July 9, 2026. 2. Rodrigo Jimenez, incumbent, whose term expires on July 9, 2026. 3. Miguel Soliman, incumbent, whose term expires on July 9, 2026. The term of appointed members will begin on July 10, 2026, and end on July 9, 2028. For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy of this memorandum to the Agenda Office, we are requesting that this issue be placed on the June 11, 2026, Commission agenda.
