Please make arrangements to publish a Notice of Public Hearing for objections to the waiving of
the requirements for formal sealed bids, for the purchase of one (1) license for access to the
ClaimSearch contributory database ("ClaimSearch") from Insurance Services Office, Inc.
("ISO"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Verisk Analytics, Inc. ("Verisk"), located at 11760 US
Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Attached is the advertisement.
The public hearing has been scheduled for May 28, 2026.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on Thursday,
May 28, 2026, at 9:00 A.M. at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida,
33133 for the purpose of waiving the requirements of obtaining sealed bids for the sole source
purchase of one (1) license for access to the ClaimSearch contributory database
("ClaimSearch"), which is being utilized by the City's Risk Management Department ("Risk"),
from Insurance Services Office, Inc. ("ISO"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Verisk Analytics, Inc.
("Verisk"), located at 545 Washington Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07310.
Inquiries from other potential sources of such a package who feel that they might be able to
satisfy the City's requirements for this item you may contact James Justin Griffin, Senior
Procurement Contracting Officer, at the City of Miami Procurement Department at (305) 416-
1949.
Said proposed resolution(s) may be inspected by the public at the Office of the City Clerk, 3500
Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays,
between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or http://miamifl.iqm2.com five days before the date of
the Commission Meeting.
All interested persons are invited to appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect to the
proposed resolution. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission
with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a
verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which
any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
Pursuant to Miami City Code Section 2-33(o), whenever a scheduled City Commission meeting
is cancelled or is not held due to a lack of a quorum or other emergency, a special City
Commission meeting will be automatically scheduled for the Tuesday immediately following the
cancelled meeting. In the event of one of the aforementioned circumstances, the special
meeting would be held on June 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission chambers located
at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133. All of the scheduled agenda
items from that cancelled meeting shall automatically be scheduled as an agenda item at the
special City Commission meeting.
The City Clerk shall notify the public of the special meeting that is to take place by placing a
notice of the special City Commission meeting at the entrance of City Hall and the City's main
administrative building, placing a notice on the City's website, and, if feasible, placing an ad in a
newspaper of general circulation before the special meeting on the immediately following
Tuesday. There shall be no additional notice by publication required for any such scheduled
agenda item that is moved to the special City Commission meeting.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City Clerk at
(305) 250-5361 (Voice) no later than five (5) business days prior to the proceeding. TTY users
may call via 711 (Florida Relay Service) no later than five (5) business days prior to the
proceeding.
