NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 9:00 A.M. at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American
Drive, Miami, Florida, 33133 for the purpose of granting the following:
ENCLOSED YOU WILL FIND AN ADVERTISEMENT FOR NOTICE OF A PUBLIC
HEARING TO BE HELD BY THE CITY COMMISSION ON MAY 28, 2026, FOR THE
PURPOSE OF AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ALLOCATE GRANT
FUNDING, ON A REIMBURSEMENT BASIS, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED FOUR MILLION AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($4,000,000.00) FROM PROJECT
NO. 40-B263412 TO SG LITTLE HAVANA LLC, A FLORIDA LIMITED LIABILITY
COMPANY ("DEVELOPER") FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN ELDERLY
AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT PROJECT IN DISTRICT 3 THAT WILL
CONTAIN THREE HUNDRED (300) UNITS OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING
RESIDENTIAL RENTAL UNITS FOR ELIGIBLE RESIDENTS WHOSE AVERAGE
ANNUAL INCOME IS EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN SIXTY PERCENT (60%) OF
AREA MEDIAN INCOME, THE USE, ALLOCATION, AND APPROPRIATION OF
FUNDS IDENTIFIED HEREIN, ARE SUBJECT TO THE RECEIPT BY THE CITY
MANAGER OF THE WRITTEN APPROVAL OF THE GRANT BY THE CITY'S
HOUSING AND COMMERCIAL LOAN COMMITTEE ("HCLC APPROVAL"), AND
SUBJECT TO THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND RESTRICTIONS CONTAINED
HEREIN, IN THE HCLC APPROVAL, THE CITY'S DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES, ANY OTHER APPLICABLE CITY
RESOLUTIONS RELATED TO THE PROJECT, AND ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL,
STATE OF FLORIDA, LOCAL, AND CITY LAWS, RULES, AND REGULATIONS FOR
AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECTS; RATIFYING, APPROVING, AND
CONFIRMING CERTAIN NECESSARY ACTIONS BY THE CITY MANAGER AND
DESIGNATED CITY DEPARTMENTS IN ORDER TO UPDATE THE CAPITAL PLAN,
RELEVANT FINANCIAL CONTROLS AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS IN
CONNECTION THEREWITH, FOR PROJECT CLOSE-OUTS, AND FOR GRANTS
AND OTHER FUNDING SOURCES IN PROGRESS IN CONNECTION HEREWITH;
FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE
ANY AND ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING AMENDMENTS,
EXTENSIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS, ALL IN FORMS ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY
ATTORNEY, FOR SAID PURPOSE, SUBJECT TO THE RECEIPT BY THE CITY
MANAGER OF THE HCLC APPROVAL; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Said proposed resolution(s) may be inspected by the public at the Office of the City
Clerk, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida 33133, Monday through Friday,
excluding holidays, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or http://miamifl.iqm2.com
five days before the date of the Commission Meeting.
The Miami City Commission requests all interested parties be present or represented
at the meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition before the City
Commission in which the City Commission may take action. Should any person desire
to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter to be
considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may
be based (F.S. 286.0105).
Pursuant to Miami City Code Section 2-33(o), whenever a scheduled City Commission
meeting is cancelled or is not held due to a lack of a quorum or other emergency, a
special City Commission meeting will be automatically scheduled for the Tuesday
immediately following the cancelled meeting. In the event of one of the
aforementioned circumstances, the special meeting would be held on June 2, 2026, at
9:00 a.m. in the City Commission chambers located at Miami City Hall, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, FL 33133. All of the scheduled agenda items from that
cancelled meeting shall automatically be scheduled as an agenda item at the special
City Commission meeting.
The City Clerk shall notify the public of the special meeting that is to take place by
placing a notice of the special City Commission meeting at the entrance of City Hall
and the City's main administrative building, placing a notice on the City's website, and,
if feasible, placing an ad in a newspaper of general circulation before the special
meeting on the immediately following Tuesday. There shall be no additional notice by
publication required for any such scheduled agenda item that is moved to the special
City Commission meeting.

special accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of
