TREE ORDINANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE ("COMMITTEE") PURSUANT TO
CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE XI, DIVISION 2, SECTION 2-883 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED ("CITY CODE"), TO SERVE IN AN ADVISORY
CAPACITY REGARDING THE CITY'S CONSIDERATION OF REVISIONS TO
CHAPTER 17, ARTICLE I OF THE CITY CODE ("TREE ORDINANCE"); REQUIRING
THE COMMITTEE TO DEVELOP AND PRESENT RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE CITY
COMMISSION; PROVIDING FOR THE COMMITTEE'S PURPOSE, POWERS, DUTIES,
COMPOSITION, MEMBERSHIP, QUALIFICATIONS, ATTENDANCE, VACANCIES,
MEETINGS, QUORUM, RULES OF PROCEDURE, LEGAL AND STAFF SUPPORT,
PUBLIC NOTICE, AND SUNSET; AND PROVIDING FOR AN IMMEDIATE EFFECTIVE
DATE.
