A RESOLUTION CALLING UPON THE CONGRES-
SIONAL DELEGATION AND THE UNITED STATES
SENATORS PROM THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO
SEEK AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THE CITY
OF MIAMI WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE LIST OF
CITIES TO RECEIVE FEDERAL AID UNDER THE
L.E.A.A. PROGRAM TO ASSIST LOCAL EFFORTS
TO COMBAT CRIME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
FLORIDA:
That the Congressional Delegation and the United States
Senators from the State of Florida be, and they are, hereby
called upon to Beek an explanation as to why the City or Miami
was not included in the list of cities to receive federal aid
under the L.E.A..A,. Program to assist local efforts to combat
crime.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of January, 1972.
