HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-43154RESOLUTION NO. 43154 A RESOLUTION TO DEFER CONSIDERATION OF A PRO- POSED RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ORDERING REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DEVELOPMENT H-4349 UNTIL THE FIRST REGULAR MEETING IN APRIL, 1972, PENDING THE OUTCOME OF AN ELECTION TO BE HELD ON MARCH 14, 1972 WHICH CONTAINS A PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT DEALING WITH THE METHOD OF ASSESSMENT FOR DISTRICTS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLOEDA : That consideration of a proposed resolution confirming ordering of Reid Acres Highway Improvement Development H-4349 be, and it is, hereby deferred until the first regular meeting in April, 1972, pending the outcome of an election to be held on March 14, 1972 which contains a proposed charter amendment dealing with the method of assessment for districts. A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ORDERING SOLUTION NO. 43001 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR SEALED BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUC- TION OF REIb ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349 IN REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4349. WHEREAS, at the City Commission meeting of November 17, 1971, Resolution No. 43001 was passed which ordered a highway improvement identified as REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349; and WHEREAS, pursuant to due public notice a public hearing was held before the City Commission on December 20, 1971 as to any objections to the confirmation of Resolution No. 43001, which resolution ordered REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349; and WHEREAS, no objections to the confirmation of said highway improvement were sustained by the Com- mission. It is therefore in order for the Commission to confirm said ordering resolution and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for sealed bids for the con- struction of said Improvement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: }r Ws0 city Section 1. That Ordering Resolution No. 43001 dated November 17, 1971, which ordered REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349 in REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4349, be, and the same is hereby, confirmed. Section 2. That the City Clerk is authorized to advertise for sealed bids for the construction of REID ACRES HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4349. PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of , 1971.
