A RESOLUTION TO DEFER UNTIL THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING
THE MATTER OF SELECTING A FIRM TO MAKE A STUDY OF THE
MODERNIZATION OF THE MIAMI POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND RE-
QUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ATTEMPT TO ASCERTAIN THE
REASONS WHY THE POLICE FOUNDATION RECOMMENDED THE TWO
FIRMS WHICH IT DID, AND THE REASON WHY A THIRD FIRM
WAS NOT SUGGESTED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That the matter of selecting a firm to make a study of the
modernization of the Miami Police Department be and it is hereby
deferred until the next regular meeting; and that the City
Manager is hereby requested to attempt to ascertain the reasons
why the Police Foundation recommended the two firms which it did,
and the reason why a third firm was not suggested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of January,1972.
