A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR LEGAL SERVICES
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI AND HAROLD
YOUNG FOR A SIX (6) MONTHS PERIOD ENDING
JULY 22, 1972 AT A COMPENSATION OF
$7,000.00, SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CON-
DITIONS OF THE EXISTING CONTRACT.
WHEREAS, HAROLD YOUNG has been a Special Counsel for
the City of Miami, authorized by Resolution No. 41297 and ex-
tended by Resolutions No. 41639, 42161, and 42665; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Attorney
of the City of Miami that HAROLD YOUNG'S services be extended
for an additional six (6) months period;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract between
the City of Miami and HAROLD YOUNG as Special Counsel for the
City of Miami for a period of six (6) months, commencing January
23, 1972 and ending July 22, 1972, at a compensation of $7,000.00,
subject further to the terms and conditions of the existing con-
tract Agreement except as above modified.
