't 2 k:,'.,,, j F,., w: 3 2 HY:er 1/4/72 RESOLUTION NO. 93/9/ A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED DECEMBER 15, 1971, OF MIAMI ELEVATOR COMPANY FOR FURNISHING ELEVATOR MAINTEN- ANCE SERVICE IN VARIOUS CITY OF MIAMI OCCUPIED BUILDINGS AS LISTED HEREIN, FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 9, 1972, THROUGH JANUARY 8, 1973, AT A TOTAL COST OF $5,036.52, AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHAS- ING AGENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS, AS REQUIRED. WHEREAS, bids were received December 15, 1971, by the City Manager and City Clerk for furnishing elevator maintenance service in various City of Miami occupied buildings as listed hereunder, for the period January 9, 1972, through January 8, 1973; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of Miami Elevator Company is the best (acceptable) bid and recommends that the same be accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid received December 15, 1971, of Miami Elevator Company for furnishing elevator maintenance service for the period January 9, 1972, through January 8, 1973, at a total cost of $5,036.52, at the following locations: Monthly Cost Annual Cost (1) Freight Elevator, City Hall $ 37.22 $ 446.64 (2) Passenger Elevator, Tax 40.27 483.24 Collector's Office (3) Passenger Elevator, Watson B1>ig. 51.19 614.28 (4) Passenger Elevator, Municipal 76.78 921.36 Justice Bldg. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami to issue purchase orders for the service described in Section 1 above, as required. 1972.
