A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
DECEMBER 15, 1971, OF BUILDING CLEANING
SERVICES, FOR FURNISHING WINDOW WASHING
SERVICES IN VARIOUS CITY OF MIAMI OCCU-
PIED BUILDINGS, AS LISTED HEREIN, AT AN
ANNUAL COST OF $2,250.00, FOR THE PERIOD
JANUARY 9, 1972 THROUGH JANUARY 8, 1973,
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING AGENT
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS, AS REQUIRED.
WHEREAS, a bid was received on December 15, 1971,
by the City Manager and City Clerk for furnishing window
washing service in various City of Miami occupied buildings,
as listed hereunder, for the period January 9, 1972 through
January 8, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that of the three
(3) Invitations to Bid mailed to potential suppliers, only
one (1) bid was received from Building Cleaning Services,
and recommends that said bid be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received December 15, 1971, of
Building Cleaning Services for furnishing window washing
service for the period January 9, 1972 through January 8,
1973, at an annual cost of $2,250.00, at the following
locations:

Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to instruct the Purchasing Agent of the City of Miami to
issue purchase orders for the service described in Section 1 above,
as required.
