A RESOLUTION ORDERING S.E. 14 STREET
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4352 AND DESIGNA-
TING THE PROPERTY AGAINST WHICH SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A PORTION
OF THE COST THEREOF AS S.E. 14 STREET
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4352 AND ALLOCATING
THE AMOUNT OF $500 FROM THE HIGHWAY
IMPROVEMENT BOND FUND FOR THE PRELIMINARY
EXPENSE.
WHEREAS, previous underground construction has
created a patchwork and rough riding pavement; and
WHEREAS, the existing curb and gutter has
deteriorated with age and in its present location
deters traffic circulation and on -street parking; and
WHEREAS, there is need to widen and completely
rebuild the existing pavement and construct new curb
and gutter; and
WHEREAS, this improvement has been petitioned
for by two of the three owners affected;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A local improvement described as S.E.
14 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4352 shall be made
under Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami,
as amended, located on
S.E. 14 Street (between Brickell Avenue
and So. Miami Avenue).

Section 2. This Improvement shall include
clearing and grading, construction of a full width
asphaltic concrete pavement, consisting of 8-inch
limerock base approximately 35 feet wide and 1-1/2-
inch asphalt surface course, concrete curb and gutter
and drainage structures as specified and described
in :he Standard City of Miami Specifications for
Public Works projects.
Section 3. This Improvement shall be designated
in all proceedings and assessments as S.E. 14 STREET
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4352 and the property against
which special assessments shall be made for a portion
of the cost thereof hereunder shall be designated as
S.E. 14 STREET HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4352.
Section 4. The sum of $500 is allocated from the
Highway Improvement Bond Fund for preliminary expense.
