A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT A DETAILED REPORT TO THE COMMISSION ON JANUARY
20,1972 REGARDING THE FEASIBILITY AND ADVISABILITY OF
TRANSFERRING THE CITY OF MIAMI'S PARK SYSTEM TO METRO-
POLITAN DADE COUNTY; INDICATING THE EFFECT OF SUCH A
TRANSFER ON THE CITY OF MIAMI'S MILLAGE RATE; AND GIVING
HIS RECOMMENDATIONS AS TO ANY OTHER MATTERS WHICH HE
BELIEVES MIGHT BE PERTINENT TO THE SUBJECT OF TRANSFER-
RING! THIS OPERATION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to submit a detailed report to the Commission on January
20,1972 regarding the feasibility and advisability of transferring
the City of Miathi's Park System to Metropolitan Dade County; in-
dicating the effect of such a transfer on the City of Miami's
millage rate; and giving his recommendations as to any other
matters which he believes might be pertinent to the subject of
transferring this operation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of January,1972.
