A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
NOVEMBER 17, 1971, OF EAGLE UNIFORM
COMPANY, DIVISION OF TERRANCE INDUSTRIES,
INC., FOR FURNISHING UNIFORM CLOTHING FOR
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
AS REQUIRED, THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1972, AT
THE PRICES LISTED HEREIN, AND AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT
THE PURCHASING AGENT OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS, AS REQUIRED.
WHEREAS, bids were received on November 17, 1971,
by the City Manager and City Clerk for the furnishing of
uniform clothing for use by the Police Department of the
City of Miami, as required, through December 31, 1972; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Eagle Uniform Company, Division of Terrance Industries, Inc.,
is the best (acceptable) bid and recommends that the same be
accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received November 17, 1971, of
Eagle Uniform Company, Division of Terrance Industries, Inc.,
for furnishing uniform clothing for the Police Department of
the City of Miami, as required, through December 31, 1972, at
the following listed prices:
