A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RE-
CEIVED NOVEMBER 26, 1973 OF GRAY
PRODUCTS CORP. FOR FURNISHING ONE (1)
ICE -MAKING MACHINE FOR USE BY THE DE-
PARTMENT OF SANITATION AT A TOTAL COST
OF $3,329.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING
DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
FOR SAME.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids
were received November 26, 1973 to furnish one (1) Ice -
Making Machine for use by the Department of Sanitation; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twenty-one (21)
potential suppliers and five (5) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Gray Products Corp. for furnishing one (1) Ice -Making Machine
for use by the Department of Sanitation at a total cost of
$3,329.00 be accepted since it is the best (acceptable) bid
and further recommends that the award be made to said Corpora-
tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on November 26, 1973
of the Gray Products Corp. to furnish one (1) Ice -Making Machine
for use by the Department of Sanitation at a total cost of
$3,329.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted, and the City
Manager is authorized to instruct the Purchasing Division to
issue a Purchase Order for same.
