A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OP
GAF. CORPORATION TO FURNISH THE CITY ONE
GAP PRINTMASTER 770 DIAZO WHITEPRINT
MACHINE PLUS ADDITIVE ITEMS 1 AND 2 CON-
SISTING OF A REAR DELIVERY TRAY AND A
SPARELLAMP FOR A LUMP SUM PRICE OF
$6,097.30; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, pursuant to due public notice, bids were
received December 3, 1973 for furnishing, delivering and in-
stalling a Diazo Whiteprint Machine for the Department of
Public Works.
WHEREAS, specifications and Proposal forms were
mailed to 10 firms, and replies were received from four
firms, three of which submitted "No Bid".
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the proposal
submitted by GAF Corporation in the total amount of $6,097.30
for the GAF Printmaster 770 plus Additive Items 1 and 2 con-
sisting of a rear delivery tray and a spare lamp is an
acceptable bid, well within the budget amount for this equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Proposal received December 3, 1973
from GAF Corporation for furnishing, delivering and installing
a GAF Printmaster 770 Diazo Whiteprint Machine plus Additive
Items 1 and 2 consisting of a rear delivery tray and a spare
lamp for a lump sum price of $6,097.30 be,and the same is hereby
accepted at the prices shown in said proposal which proposal
reflects a $540 trade-in value of the City's OZALID PRINTMASTER
810 machine which is being replaced.
Section 2. That the City Manager be and he is hereby
