A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO CONTRIBUTE
THE AMOUNT OF $1, 500, TO BE SOINED'BY
METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY IN AN EQUAL
AMOUNT, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCT-
ING FLOATS TO BE USED IN THE FORTHCOM-
ING ORANGE BOWL PARADE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami participated in the 1973 Orange Bowl
Parade, collectively, with Metropolitan Dade County for the construction of
an appropriate float; and
WHEREAS, Metropolitan Dade County has agreed to cosponsor, with
the City of Miami, a float in the 1974 Orange Bowl Parade; and
WHEREAS, Metropolitan Dade County has requested the City of
Miami to join them in a joint venture of placing floats in the 1974 Orange
Bowl Parade.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City of Miami agrees to contribute the amount
of $1, 500, to be joined by Metropolitan Dade County in an equal amount, for
the purpose of constructing floats to be used in the forthcoming Orange Bowl
Parade.
