A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE MANAGER
OF THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONCESSION AT
THE CITY OF MIAMI MIAMI SPRINGS GOLF COURSE
CLUBHOUSE TO CONTINUE AS MANAGER ON
JANUARY 1, 1974, AND UNTIL THE CITY OF MIAMI
CAN EXERCISE AND RECEIVE PROPOSALS FOR
LEASING OF THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONCESSION
AT THE FACILITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami owns the Miami Springs Golf Course
Clubhouse; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Miami Springs Golf Course Clubhouse
food and beverage concession is leased to the City of Miami Springs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Springs has expressed a desire to
terminate their lease as of January 1, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager advertised and received bids for the food
and beverage concession at the City of Miami Miami Springs Golf Course Club-
house; and
WHEREAS, the two (2) bids received did not fully respond to the bid
specifications; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami desires to permit the City of Miami
Springs to vacate the premises on January 1, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
negotiate with the manager of the food and beverage concession at the City of
Miami Miami Springs Golf Course Clubhouse to continue as manager on
January 1, 1974, and until the City of Miami can exercise and receive proposals
for leasing of the food and beverage concession at the facility.
