A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING THE
ACTION OF THE CITY MANAGER IN AUTHORIZING
THE ISSUANCE OF A PURCHASE ORDER IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1, 710 ON AN EMERGENCY BASIS FOR
THE PURPOSE O'1 PURCHASING 2000 POUNDS OF
MANHATTAN GRASS SEED ON THE BASIS OF INFOR-
MAL QUOTATION DUE TO ONLY SOURCE OF SEED
AVAILABLE BECAUSE OF EXTREME SHORTAGE OF
THIS TYPE OF SEED AND THE URGENCY OF PLANT-
ING THE SEED FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS
AND RECREATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the emergency action taken by the City Manager
in causing a purchase order to be issued for the purchase of 2000 pounds of
Manhattan grass seed at a cost of $1, 710 for the Department of Parks and
Recreation is hereby ratified and confirmed.
