'--/0cb A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND CONFIRMING THE ACTION OF THE CITY MANAGER IN ISSUING TO THE SOLE VENDOR, A PURCHASE ORDER FOR A COMPLETELY SELF-CONTAINED SANITARY PUMP STATION FOR USE AT DINNER KEY MARINA ALLOCATING FROM THE SANITARY SEWER BOND FUND THE AMOUNT OF $1,385 TO COVER THE COST OF THE UNIT AND SPARE PARTS; AND AUTHORIZING THE UNIT TO BE INSTALLED BY CITY FORCES WHEREAS, Federal Regulations require boats to utilize holding tanks for sanitary wastes, but at the Dinner Key Marine, there is no facility for emptying these holding tanks; and WHEREAS, there is one source for completely self-contained sanitary pump station unit which will meet the need at Dinner Key Marina and the unit carries a 10-day delivery schedule; and WHEREAS, in order that the unit can be delivered and installed by January 25, 1974, the date of the next meeting of Miami River Restoration Authority, it was necessary to place the unit on order prior to the allocation of funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the action of the City Manager in issuing a purchase order to the sole source of a self-contained sanitary pump station for use at Dinner Key Marina for the amount of $1,384.50 for the unit and spare parts, be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed. Section 2. That the amount of $1,385 be and it is hereby allocated from the Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund to cover the cost of the aforesaid unit and spare parts. Section 3. That the installation of said pump station be and it is hereby authorized to be performed by City Forces. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 0.1'4/ day of , 1973.
