A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE WITH THE CONSULTING FIRM OF
AND TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PREPARING ENTRANCE AND PROMOTIONAL EXAEINA..
TIONS FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI POLICE DEPARTMENT,
TO MONITOR THE GIVING OF THESE EXAMINATIONS,
TO PREPARE A METHOD OF SCORING THE EXAMINATIONS
WHICH INCLUDES GIVING WEIGHT TO SENIORITY, AND
TO SCORE THE EXAMINATIONS, ALL AS PROVIDED IN
THE COURT ORDER DATED SEPTEMBER 14, 1973.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to negotiate
with the consulting firm of
and to enter into agreement for the purpose of preparing entrance
and promotional examinations for the City of Miami Police Department,
to monitor the giving of these examinations, to prepare a method of
scoring the examinations which includes giving weight to seniority,
and to score the examinations, all as provided in the Court Order
dated September 14, 1973.
