A RESOLUTION PERMITTING THE FREE USE OF THE MIAMI STADIUM
BY THE EVANGELISTIC MISSIONARY SOC. INC., A PUBLIC PURPOSE
ORGANIZATION, FOR THE STAGING OF "OPERACIONt RESCATE
JUVENIL" DECEMBER 12TH THRU DECEMB:R 161S, 1973, SUBJECT
TO CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 7733 provides for a free use for public
purposes of certain Municipal facilities; and
WHEREAS, the organization requesting free use of the City facility
comes within the purview of organizations which are educational, literary,
scientific, religious or charitable or performing a public purpose, and
said use is deemed by this Commission to be for a public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMII, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Commission hereby authorizes the proper officials
of the City of Miami to grant free use of the Miami Stadium December 12th
thru December 16th, 1973, to the Evangelistic Missionary Soc., Inc., a
public purpose organization, for the staging of "Operacion: Rescate Juvenil",
subject to the following terms and conditions:
(a) That said organization shall obtain liability insurance in
such amounts and with such carriers as the City Manager
deems appropriate for the protection of the City;
(b) Pappeatof utilities used for the staging of said event shall
be paid for by the above named organization.
(c) Payment for all City personnel necessary for the operation
of the City's facility during the staging of said event, and
payment for all police personnel required for the staging
of said event deemed necessary by the facility manager
shall be paid by the organization.
Section 2. The necessary funds for this purpose shall be taken
from the Contingent Fund.
