A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE rOlt AND
ENTER INTO CONTRACTS FOR TENNIS PRO-
FESSIONAL PRIVILEGES AT HENDERSON AND
MOORE PARKS.
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution 73-770 to
advertise and receive bids for the Tennis and Professional Privileges at
Henderson and Moore Parks; and
WHEREAS, bid specifications were prepared, advertised and
submitted to nine (9) prospective tennis professionals; and
WHEREAS, three (3) bids were received on November 26, 1973;
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Manager that the bids
receivedare not responsive to the bid. specifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the Tennis
Professional Privileges at Henderson and Moore Parks be negotiated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to negotiate for and enter into contracts for Tennis Professional Privileges
at Henderson and Moore Parks.
