A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OP
FINANCE TO PAY TO DEVONSHIRE, INC., SOL
KART AND EVA KART, WITHOUT THE ADMISSION
OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $432.52 IN FULL
AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND
DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON
THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE
CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, DEVONSHIRE, INC., SOL KART AND EVA KART, filed
a claim against the City of Miami for damage incurred in the
amount of $432.52 on July 3, 1973, when the plumbing at
832-838 West Flagler Street, in the City of Miami, backed up,
allegedly- due to a blocked City sewer; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $432.52;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to DEVONSHIRE, INC., SOL KART AND
EVA KART, without the admission of liability, the sum of
$432.52 in full and complete settlement of all claims and
demands against the City of Miami, upon the execution
release
of a
releasing the City of Miami from all claims and demands.
