A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR
OF FINANCE TO PAY TO LOUIS SHABAREKH,
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $40.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE
SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
AGAINST THE CITY OP MIAMI, UPON THE
EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE
CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, LOUIS SHABAREKH filed a claim against the
City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $40.00
to his automobile tire, allegedly caused by a hole in a
City street at or near N.E. 19th Terrace and N.E. 21st
Avenue, in the City of Miami, on or about September 18,
1973; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $40.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to LOUIS SHABAREKH, without the
admission of liability, the sum of $40.00 in full and complete
settlement of all claims and demands against the City of Miami,
upon the execution of a release releasing the City of Miami
from all claims and demands.
