W. 51 TERRACE ALLEY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4371 AND DESIGNATING THE PROPERTY AGAINST 'WHICH SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS SHALL BE MADE FOR A PORTION OF THE COST THEREOF AS N. W. 51 TERRACE ALLEY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4371; AND ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $500 FROM THE HIGHWAY BOND FUND FOR PRELIMINARY EXPENSE. WHEREAS, N. W. 51 Terrace Alley between N. W. 12 and 13 Avenues is overgrown with weeds and bushes and travel is obstructed by trees and fences, etc. WHEREAS, a petition requesting improvements be made to the alley has been signed by 13 of the total 24 abutting property owners. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That a local Improvement describedlas NW1:51 TERRACE ALLEY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4371 shall be made under Section 56 of the Charter of The City of Miami as amended, located on N.W. 51 Terrace Alley between N.W. 12 and N.W. 13 Avenues. Section 2. That this Improvement shall include clearing and grading, construction of asphaltic concrete pave- ment consisting of 8 inch limerock base and a one (1) inch asphalt surface course, construction of 6 inch concrete side- walks at alley approaches, drainage facilities and obstruction removal or relocation as specified and described in the Standard City of Miami Specifications for Public Works Projects. it 2. ,.. That this Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings and assessments as N.W. 51 TERRACE ALLEY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4371 and the property against which assessments shall be made for a portion of the cost thereof, hereunder shall be designated as N.W. 51 TERRACE ALLEY HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4371. Section 4. That the City Manager allocate the sum of $500 from the Highway Bond Fund for Preliminary Expense. PASSED AND ADOPTED this , 1973.
