A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL
USE", AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871,
ARTICLE IV, SECTION 8(5), TO PERMIT
TEMPORARY USE OF A TRAILER ON LOTS 11,
12 AND N 5' OF LOT 13, BLOCK 1, HARDING
HEIGHTS (6-138), LOCATED S. W. CORNER
OF S. W. 27TH AVENUE AND S. W. 6TH STREET,
FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR FROM DATE
OF ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY,
AS A BRANCH OFFICE FOR UNIVERSITY FEDERAL
SAVINGS & LOAN ASSOCIATION, ZONED C42
(COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of
the City of Miami, at its meeting held on November 19,
1973, passed and adopted by a 9 to 0 vote its Resolution
No. 73-243, recommending granting a "conditional use"
as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article IV, Section
8(5), as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems
it advisable to the public convenience and welfare and
finds that the use will not be detrimental or injurious
to the character or the development of the immediate
neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the application for a "conditional
use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article IV,
Section 8 (5), to permit temporary use of a trailer on
Lots 11, 12 and N 5' of Lot 13, Block 1, HARDING HEIGHTS
(6-138), located S. W. corner of S. W. 27th Avenue and
S. W. 6th Street, for a period of one (1) year from date

4 of issuance of Certificate of Occupany, as a branch office
5 for University Federal Savings & toan Association, Zoned C-2
(Community CoMmercial) District, be and the same is hereby
granted.
Section 2. This conditional use shall become
null and void unless the use is commenced within six months
of the effective date of this Resolution. Upon application,
the City Manager may, after review and determination that
substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant
in terms of project planning, extend the expiration date
of the conditional use for an additional period of time
not to exceed one (1) year. Said extension request shall
be filed with the City Manager two (2) weeks prior to the
expiration date of the initial six (6) months effective
period of the conditional use.

Applicant: University Federal Savings
The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of November 19, 1973, Item
#5, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-243
by a 9 to 0 vote recommending "Conditional Use" as listed in Ordin-
ance No. 6871, ARTICLE IV, Section 8 (5), to permit temporary use
of a trailer on Lots 11, 12 and N 5' of Lot 13, Block 1, HARDING
HEIGHTS.(6"138), located S. W. corner of S. W. 27th Avenue and S. W.
6th Street, for a period of one (1) year from date of issuance of
Certificate of Occupancy, as a branch office for University Federal
Savings & Loan Association; zoned C-2 (Community Commercial).
Two objections were received in the mail.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this "Conditional Use" has been prepared
by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.
