A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE", AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE XV, SECTION 2 (8)(a), TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF FIVE (5) 'BOORS OF PARKING IN CONJUNCTION WITH ELEVEN (11) FLOORS OF OFFICES ON LOTS 8 AND 9, BLOCK 86N, MIAMI (B-41), LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 390 N. W. 1ST AVENUE, ZONED C-3 (CENTRAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Miami, at its meeting held on November 5, 1973, passed and adopted by a 7 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 73-234, recommend- ing a "conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV, Section 2 (8)(a), as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems it advisable to the public convenience and welfare and finds that the use will not be detrimental or injurious to the character or the development of the immediate neghborhood; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the application for a'Conditional use" as provided in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV, Section 2 (8)(a), to permit construction of five (5) floors of parking in con- junction with eleven (11) floors of offices on Lots 8 and 9, Block 86N, MIAMI (B-41), located at approximately 390 N. W. 1st Avenue, zoned C-3 (Central Commercial), be and the same is hereby granted. Section 2. This conditional use shall become null and void unless the use is commenced within six months of the effective date of this Resolution. Upon application, the City Manager may, after review and determination that substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant in terms of project �;, Y CC(,i�ie ;S,QN 1 NDEX.,.i r. G OF 1 y I,::. planning, extend the expiration date of the conditional use for an additional period of time not to exceed one (1) year. Said extension request shall be filed with the City Manager two (2) weeks prior to the expiration date of the initial six (6) months effective periof of the conditbnal use 1 C,t73 PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of 1973. Richman The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of November 5, 1973, Item #4 (a), following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-233 by a 7 to 0 vote (two members absent), recommending approval, as per Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE IV, Section 39, for proposed office building, including five (5) floors of parking and eleven (11) floors of offices, on Lots 8 and 9, Block 86N, MIAMI (B-41), located at -approximately 390 N. W. lst Avenue, zoned C-3 (Central Commercial), being located in the Miami -Dade Governmental Center Interim Zoning District. No objections were received in the mail. A RESOLUTION to provide for this request for approval has been pre- pared by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the City Commission. mm Z.
