HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-73-0956RESOLUTION NO, 73.. pax A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CON- TRACT WITH PARAMOUNT CONCESSION, INC. , FOR THE FOOD, BEVERAGE AND NOVELTY CONCESSION AT THE 1974 ORANGE BOWL PA- RADE TO BE HELD IN MIAMI, FLORIDA ON DECEMBER 31, 1973. WHEREAS, the City of Miami advertised to receive sealed bids on October 25, 1973, for the Orange Bowl Parade Concession Privileges; and WHEREAS, no bids were received; and WHEREAS, the City Manager negotiated with three (3) individual firms for the Orange Bowl Concession Privilege; and WHEREAS, two (2) firms submitted proposals following the negotia- tions; and WHEREAS, the proposal of Paramount Concession, Inc. , is the most advantageous proposal to the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Paramount Concession, Inc. for the food, beverage and novelty concession at the 1974 Orange Bowl Parade to be held in Miami, Florida on December 31, 1973.
