A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING $191,253.50 FROM THE
PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUNDS
TO PROVIDE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF LOTS 92 &
93 IN BLACK B, FLAGLER ACCORDING TO THE PLAT
THEREOF RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 5 AT PAGE 44
OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA
PURSUANT TO THE CIRCUIT COURT JUDGMENT DATED
OCTOBER 31, 1973 AND INCIDENTAL COSTS OF WAIN-
WRIGHT PARK; FURTHER PROVIDING THAT SAID FUNDS
BE RETURNED TO THE PARK AND RECREATIONAL
FACILITIES BOND FUNDS UPON THE RECEIPT OF THE
FEDERAL AND STATE FUNDS FROM GRANTS PREVIOUSLY
APPROVED.
WHEREAS, as authorized by Resolution No. 73-454 dated June 14,
1973, the City of Miami, Florida previously placed $1,100,000 in the
Registry of the Circuit Court, to provide for the condemnation of
property at Wainwright Park; and
WHEREAS, the Final Judgment dated October 31, 1973 from the
Circuit Court directed the City of Miami to deposit an additional
$165,000 in the Registry of the Circuit Court, making the total payment
for the property $1,265,000; and
WHEREAS, in addition to the above, there exists incidental
costs to the acquisition of this property totaling $26,253.50;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That $191,253.50 be allocated from the Park and
Recreational Facilities Bond Funds to provide for the acquisition of
Lots 92 and 93 in Block B, Flagler according to
the Plat thereof in Plat Book 5 at Page 44 of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida
pursuant to the Circuit Court Judgment dated October 31, 1973, and
incidental costs of Wainwright Park.
Section 2. That said Funds be returned to the Park and Rec-
reational Facilities Bond Funds upon the receipt of the Federal and
State Funds from Grants previously approved.
