A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO MRS, WALTERETTA SALLEE
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
S1JM OF $150.00 IN PULL AND COMPLETE
SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS
AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE
EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE
CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, Mrs. WALTERETTA SALLEE, a widow, filed a claim
against the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount
of $150.00, for personal injuries received in a fall on
February 3, 1973, allegedly caused by a defect in a City
sidewalk in front of 1640 N.W. 16th Street, in the City of
Miami, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $150.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to Mrs. WALTERETTA SALLEE, without
the admission of liability, the sum of $150.00 in full and
complete settlement of all claims and demands against the
City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the
City of Miami from all claims and demands.
