A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO BIL, GARRETT WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OP
$64.48 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT
OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE
CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A
RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI PROM
ALL CLAIMS AND.DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, BILL GARRETT filed a claim against the City of
Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $64.48 on or about
October 13, 1972, when a City crew installing replacement
sidewalk allegedly damaged the fence at his home at 121 S.W.
19th Road, in the City of Miami, and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office
of the City Attorney and said office recommends that this
claim be settled for the sum of $64.48;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to BILL GARRETT without the admission
of liability, the sum of $64.48 in full and complete settlement
of all claims and demands against the City of Miami, upon the
execution of a release releasing the City of Miami from all
claims and demands.
