A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK OF
BRANAM ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR THE MARINE STADIUM
PARKING LOT LIGHTING 1973 AT A TOTAL COST OF
$60,733.28; AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE OF $441.28
IN THE CONTRACT AMOUNT; AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL
PAYMENT OF $8,802.38 TO BRANAM ELECTRIC COMPANY
FOR MARINE STADIUM PARKING LOT LIGHTING - 1973.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated March 28, 1973.
between the City of Miami and Branam Electric Company for
the MARINE STADIUM PARKING LOT LIGHTING 1973, and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and
Branam Electric Company has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc., have
been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract,
and
WHEREAS, due to necessary changes during the course
of the project there was an increase of $441.28 in the con-
tract amount,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Branam
Electric Company under the contract dated March 28, 1973
for the MARINE STADIUM - PARKING LOT LIGHTING - 1973 at a
total cost of $60,733.28 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. An increase of $441.28 in the contract
amount be, and the same is hereby, authorized.
Section 3. The proper officials of The City of Miami
are hereby authorized and directed to pay Branam Electric
Co. a balance of $8,802.38 as full and final payment for all
work performed and all materials furnished for the MARINE
STADIUM PARKING LOT LIGHTING - 1973.
