N t? 4 V TO THE RETIRE-
MENT BOARD OF THE MIAMI CITY EMPLOYEES'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND APPOINTING THE SAME
MEMBER TO THE RETIREMENT BOARD OF THE
MIAMI CITY GENERAL EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT
PLAN FOR THE TERM COMMENCING DECEMBER 1,
1973 AND ENDING DECEMBER 1, 1975
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2230 establishing the retire-
ment system and Ordinance No. 5624 establishing the retirement
plan for City employees provide for administration of the
respective programs by a retirement board, three members of
each such board being appointed by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the current term of office of one such member,
Mrs. Theodore R. Gibson, serving on each such board will ter-
minate on December 1, 1973;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. In accordance with the arovisions of
Ordinance No. 2230 of the City of Miami, adopted December 6,
1939 as amended, and the -provisions of Ordinance No. 5624 of
the City of Miami, adopted May 2, 1956, as amended, relating
to appointment by the City Commission of members of the Retire-
ment Board of the Miami City Employees' Retire-ent System and
the Miami City General Employees' Retirement Plan;
be and he is hereby appointee
a member of the Retirement Board of the Miami :L ty Employees'
Retirement System and is also hereby appointed a member of the
Retirement Board of the Miami City General 3nployees' 21ar.
serve for a two yvar term on each such Board col.ze:..ing
De,amber 1, 1973 and ending Jczenirer 1, 1975.
