MENT BOARD OF THE MIAMI CITY EMPLOYEES'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND APPOINTING THE
SAME MEMBER TO THE RETIREMENT .BOARD OF
THE MIAMI CITY GENERAL EMPLOYEES' RETIRE-
MENT PLAN FOR THE TERM COMMENCING
DECEMBER 14, 1973 AND ENDING DECEMBER
13, 1975
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2230 establishing the retire-
ment system and Ordinance No. 5624 establishing the retirement
plan for City employees provide for administration of the.
respective programs by a retirement board, three members of
each such board being appointed by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the current term of office of one such member.
R. Belvin Cooper, serving on each such board will terminate ,:,n
December 13, 1973;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. In accordance with the ?rL«..sions of
Ordinance No. 2230 of the City of Miami, adopted December n,
1939 as amended, and the provisions of Ordinance No. 5n24 of
the City of Miami, adopted May 2, 1956, as amended, relating
to appointment by the City Commission of members of the Retire-
mcat-Board of the Miami City Employees' Retiremen.. System aaL.
