A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE CONCEPT OF THE "911"
EMERGENCY TELEPHONE NUMBER SYSTEM BUT GOING ON
RECORD AS BEINGIN DISFAVOR OF THE PRESENT METHOD
OF IMPLEMENTATION; FURTHER REQUESTING THE MATTER
BE FURTHER STUDIED WITH THE CONCURRENCE OF ALL
CONCERNED DEPARTMENT HEADS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA;
That the concept of the "911" emergency telephone number
system be and it is hereby endorsed; but going on record as
being in disfavor of the present method of implementation;
further requesting the matter be further studied with the
concurrence of all concerned Department Heads of the
City of Miami.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November,1973.
