73-209 recommending denial for an eleemosynary use,,as
hereinafter set forth/
NOW, THEREtORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION

Applicant: Village South, Inc.
The Miami Planning Board, at its meeting of October 15, 1973, Item
#1, following an advertised Hearing, adopted Resolution No. 73-209
by a 7 to 2 vote recommending DENIAL for permission, as listed in
Ordinance No. 6871, ARTICLE IV, Section 36, that The Village South,
Inc., a non-profit therapeutic center to be established on Lots 1
thru 8, Block 17, DIXIE HIGHWAY TRACT (5-24), located on block
bounded by N. E. Miami Place, N. E. Miami Court, N. E. 58th and 59th
Streets; zoned R-2 (Two -Family) and R-3 (Low Density Multiple).
There were over 20% objections.
A RESOLUTION to provide for this Eleemosynary Use has been prepared
by the City Attorney's office and submitted for consideration of the
City Commission.
