MINUTES OF SPECIAL
MEETING
CITY COMMISSION OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA
On the 14th day of November, 1973 the City Commission of
Miami, Florida met at its regular meeting place in City Hall
in said City to certify the results of the Regular Municipal
Election held on November 13, 1973 for election of Commissioners,
Groups IV,& V of the City of Miami. The meeting was
called to order at 12:05 o'clock P.M. by Vice -Mayor Theodore R.
Gibson with the following members of the Commission present:
Reverend Gibson, Mrs. Gordon, Mr. Plummer and Mr. Reboso..
Absent: Mayor Ferre. TheYlayor entered the meeting at 12:10
P.M.
The Commission proceeded to canvass the returns of the
Regular Municipal Election held on November 13, 1973 for elec-
tion of Commissioner, Group IV, of the City of Miami, examining
the official return sheets and the absentee ballots cast in
said election.
Upon completion of its canvass of the results of said
election, the following resolution was introduced by Mr. Plummer,
who moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-921
A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING AND DECLAR-
ING THE RESULTS OF THE REGULAR
MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD NOVEMBER
13, 1973 FOR ELECTION OF COMMISSIONER,
GROUP IV, OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA
(Here follows body of resolution declaring the election
of Manolo Reboso as Commissioner in Group IV, which
resolution is on file in the City Clerk's office)
Upon being seconded by Mrs. Gordon the resolution was
passed and adopted by the following vote - AYES: Reverend Gibson,
Mrs. Gordon, Mr. Plummer, Mr. Reboso and Mayor Ferre: NOES:
None.
The following resolution was introduced by Mr. Plummer,
who moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 73-922
A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING AND DECLARING

ELECTION OF COMMISSIONER, GROUP V, OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA

on file in the City Clerk's office)
Upon being seconded; by Mrs. Gordon the resolution was
passed and adopted by the following vote - AYES: Reverend
Gibson, Mrs. Gordon, Mr. Plummer, Mr. Reboso and Mayor Ferre.
NOES: None.
ADJOURNMENT:
On motion duly made and seconded the meeting was ad-
journed at 12:15 o'clock P.M. until 12:00 o'clock Noon on
November 15, 1973.
