RESOLUTION NO.
73-921
A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING AND DECLARING
THE RESULTS OP THE REGULAR MUNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD NOVEMBER 13, 1973 FOR
ELECTION OF COMMISSIONER„ GROUP IV, OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the returns of Inspectors and Clerks of the
regular election held November 13, 1973 have been delivered
to the Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has canvassed such returns made
by said Inspectors and Clerks of election and has determined
the total number of votes cast at such election as shown by said
returns;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Commission finds and hereby declares
and certifies that the candidates in Group IV (For Commissioner)
received the number of votes set opposite their names, to wit:
GROUP IV
James (Chip) Black 8,518
Manolo Reboso 11,475
Section 2. That the total number of ballots cast at said
election in the 82 voting precincts was 21,374 .
Section 3. That it is hereby certified and declared that
in Group IV (For Commissioner), Manolo Reboso
a majority of the votes cast in said Group IV and that
Manolo Reboso
received
is hereby declared elected to hold said
office for a term of four (4) years from noon of November 15, 1973.
Section 4. That the said election was held according to
and pursuant to the provisions of the law and that the returns
of the Inspectors and Clerks are now found to be correct.
Section 5. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to perform any and all other incidental
duties in connection herewith as required by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of November, 1973.
