RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A "CONDITIONAL USE"
AS PROVIDED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE
XV, SECTION 2 (8)(a), TO PERMIT MECHANIC-
ALLY OPERATED PARKING STRUCTURE ON LOT 20,
BLOCK 83N, MIAMI (B-41), SUBJECT TO APPRO ./
PRIATE SIDE SCREENING AS APPROVED BY THE ,

BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT, LOCATED AT ,14. W.

DISTRICT, R. A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR ROM
NOVEMBER 8, 1973.
WHEREAS, the ,y Planning and Zoning Board of the City
of Miami, at its meeting hel on December 6, 1971, passed and adopted
by an 8 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 71-266, recommending granting a
"Conditional Use" as provided\in Ordinance No. 6871, Article XV,
Section 2 (8) (a) , as hereinafter set forth; and this Commission deems
it essential and desirable to the public convenience and welfare and
finds that the use will not be aetrimental or injurious to the
character of the development of the immediate neighborhood;
NOW, THEREFORE,/BE IRESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. hat the plication for a "Conditional Use"
as provided in Ordinanc No. 6871, rticle XV, Section 2 (8)(a), to
permit mechanically o erated parking structure on Lot 20, Block 83N,
MIAMI, Plat Book B, age 41, subject o appropriate side screening as
approved by Buildi'g Department and 1 dscaping approved by Planning
Department, loca -d atN.W. Corner of .E. 3rd Street and Biscayne
Boulevard, in a C-3 (Central Commercial District, be and the same is
hereby grante• for a period of one year 'from November 8, 1973.

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 43092 PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE
CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
DECEMBER 20, 1971 AND REVOKING THE
CONDITIONAL USE GRANTED BY SAID RESOLUTION
APPROVING A MECHANICALLY OPERATED PARKING
STRUCTURE.
WHEREAS, on December 20, 1971, the City Commission
by Resolution No. 43092 granted a conditional use for a
mechanically operated parking structure at 300 Biscayne
Boulevard, subject to review after one year; and
WHEREAS, after the yearly inspection and review,
it was revealed that: (1) a hazardous condition in the
parking structure screening existed; (2) the landscaping
and resulting appearance were unsatisfactory; and (3) an
illegal vending machine was present in the area; and
WHEREAS, this Commission by a unanimous vote
deferred this matter for thirty days pending compliance
by the operators; and
WHEREAS, during this thirty day period no improvements
or attempts to comply with the order of the City Commission
were made;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 43092, passed and
adopted by the City Commission of the City of Miami on
December 20, 1971, is hereby rescinded.

Section 2. That the conditional use granted by
said resolution approving a mechanically operated parking
structure is hereby revoked.

MENT, LOCATED AT N. W. CORNER OF N. E. 3RD
STREET AND BISCAYNE BOULEVARD, IN A C_
(CENTRAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT, FOR A PERIOD
OF ONE YEAR FROM NOVEMBER 8, 1973;
PROVIDING FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE VENDING
MACHINE TO A NEW LOCATION; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL
SIGNS ARE TO BE ON ONE SIGN STANDARD (I.E., ONE
POLE), SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE DIRECTOR OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BUILDING DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of the
City of Miami, at its meeting held on December 6, 1971,
passed and adopted by an 8 to 0 vote its Resolution No. 71-266,

2 (8) (a), to permit mechanically operated parking structure
on Lot 20, Block 83N, MIAMI, Plat Book B, Page 41, subject to
appropriate side screening as approved by the Building
bepartment and landscaping approved by Planning Department,
located at N.W. Corner of N. E. 3rd Street and Biscayne
