A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CERTIFICATE
SET FORTH HEREIN CONFIRMING THE ELECTION
OF DONALD L. PRINTZ TO THE RETIREMENT
BOARD OF THE MIAMI CITY EMPLOYEES' RETIRE-
MENT SYSTEM FOR A TERM OF TWO YEARS
WHEREAS, under date of September 26, 1973, the City
Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. 73-788, being
a resolution entitled -
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING RULES OF PROCEDURE FOR THE
ELECTION BY POLICEMEN AND FIREMEN WHO ARE RETIRE-
MENT SYSTEM MEMBERS OF ONE MEMBER OF THE RETIRE-
MENT BOARD OF THE MIAMI CITY EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT
SYSTEM FOR A TERM OF TWO YEARS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
ORDINANCE NO. 2230, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING FOR THE
NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES, PROVIDING FOR SAID
ELECTION, PROVIDING FOR RUN-OFF ELECTION IF NEC-
ESSARY, PRESCRIBING FORM, OF BALLOT, PROVIDING FOR
CANVASSING AND DECLARATION OF RESULT OF SAID ELEC-
TION
and •
WHEREAS, in accordance with provisions of Resolution
No. 73-788 there has been submitted by the City Clerk the
following certificate:

Dear Sir:
This is to certify that we, the undersigned, supervised
in accordance with Resolution No. 73-788 an election held
on the 26th day of October, 1973, in the Police Roll Call
Room, Municipal Justice Building, and at the Fire Depart-
ment Garage, 1151 NW 7th Street, called for the purpose
of electing one member of the Retirement Board of the
Miami City Employees' Retirement System, by the policemen
and firemen, subject to final acceptance by the Commission
of the City of Miami, Florida.
We do hereby further certify that we have canvassed the
returns of said election and have found the results to be
as herein set out:

WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to accept said
certificate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
That the certificate hereinabove set forth be, and the
same is, hereby accepted by the City Commission,and the elec-
tion of Donald L. Printz to the Retirement Board of the Miami
City Employees' Retirement System be, and it is, hereby con-
firmed for a term of two years from November 22, 1973.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of November, 1973.
