RESOLUTION NO.73-915
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF OGLESBY NURSERY,
INC., RECEIVED OCTOBER 26, 1973, FOR FURNISHING TWO
HUNDRED (200) DWARF MALAY COCONUT PALMS AND THREE
HUNDRED (300) DWARF MALAY COCONUT SPROUTS AT A
TOTAL COST OF $1,900.00 FOR THE PARKS DEPARTMENT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received on October 26, 1973 for
furnishing two hundred (200) Dwarf Malay Coconut Palms and
three hundred (300) Dwarf Malay Coconut Sprouts for the Parks
Department, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the 'yid of
Oglesby Nursery, Inc. for furnishing said two hundred (200)
Dwarf Malay Coconut Palms and three hundred (300) Dwarf
Malay Coconut Sprouts, at a total cost of $1,900.00 be
accepted as the bid most advantageous to the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid of Oglesby Nursery, Inc. received
on October 26, 1973, for furnishing two hundred (200) Dwarf
Malay Coconut Palms and three hundred (300) Dwarf Malay
Coconut Sprouts, at a total cost of $1,900,00, for the Parks
Department is hereby accepted and the City Manager is author-
ized and directed to instruct the Purchasing Division to issue
a purchase order therefor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8 day of November
1973.
