A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED
OCTOBER 16, 1973 OF MARKS BROTHERS
COMPANY IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF
$175,765 FOR WESTERN DRAINAGE PROJECT
E-30; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF
$196,857 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED
STORM SEWER BOND FUND; AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, bids were received October 16, 1973 for the
construction of WESTERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-30.
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $175,765 are available
for allocation from the account entitled "Storm Sewer
Bond Fund".
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of
Marks Brothers Company in the amount of $175,765 is
the lowest bid (acceptable) and recommends that contract
be awarded to said company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid of Marks Brothers Company
received October 16, 1973 for the construction of
WESTERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-30, namely Alt. Base Bid II
of Proposal, based on unit prices, at a total estimated
cost of $175,765 be accepted.
Section 2. That the amount of $196,857 be allocated
from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund".
Section 3. That the City Manager be authorized and
directed to enter into*a contract in behalf of the City
