A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE HIGHWAY RIGHT OF
WAY DEED EXECUTED BY THE SEABOARD COAST LINE
RAILROAD COMPANY, CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
MIAMI CERTAIN STRIPS OF LAND ABUTTING N.W.
21 TERRACE IN THE CITY OF MIAMI: AND DIRECT-
ING THE PROPER OFFICIAL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
TO RECORD SAID DEED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
DADE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, The City of Miami needs certain strips of land
heretofore used as right of way by the Seaboard Coastline
Railroad Company abutting N. W. 21 Terrace for its Jefferson
Highway Improvement H-4350, and
WHEREAS, Seaboard Coastline Railroad Company has executed
and delivered to The City of Miami a Highway Right of Way Deed
for the aforesaid dedication, and
WHEREAS, it is now in order for the City Commission to
accept the aforesaid Highway Right of Way Deed and to have it
recorded in the Public Records of Dade County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the August 9, 1973 Highway Right of Way
Deed from Seaboard Coastline Railroad Company for certain strips
of land representing all of its right of way in Block 6 and
portions of its right of way in Blocks 5 and 8 of Washington
Park as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 208, Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, be and the same is hereby, accepted.
Section 2. That the proper officials of The City of Miami
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to record
the aforesaid Highway Right of Way Deed in the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
