A-1903.2 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI CURTIS PARK EXPANSION PROJECT, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN, FOR THE SUM OF $38,300.00; AND ALLOCATING $40,000.00 FROM THE 1?72 PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES BOND FUND TO COVER THE COST AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES PERTINENT TO THE ACQUISITION OF FEE SIMPLE TITLE TO THIS PROPERTY. WHEREAS, Parcel No. A-1003.2 is a portion of the property proposed to be acquired for the expansion of Curtis Park; and WHEREAS, the citizens of the City of Miami approved the issuance of bonds to provide the funds to defray the cost of such property acquisition to provide for parks under the Parks for People Bond Program; and WHEREAS, the necessary monies for said acquisition are available in the 1972 Parks and Recreational Facilities Bond Fund; and WHEREAS, the owners of Parcel No. A-1003.2 have by agreement dated November 1, 1973, offered to convey Fee Simple Title to this property to the City of Miami for $38,300.00; and WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interest of the City of Miami, Florida in acquire this property at this time through negotiated purchase; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to purchase Parcel No. A-1003.2 of the Curtis 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 tio Park expansion project for the sum of $38,300.00, said parcel being described as follows: Lot 20, Block 1, Washburns Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 4, at Page 112, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. Section 2. That $40,000.00 is hereby allocated from the 1972 Parka and Recreational Facilities Bond Fund to cover the cost of acquiring Fee Simple Title to the herein described parcel of land.
