A RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FROM ORD-
INANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE IV, SECTION 17 (2),
TO PERMIT ERECTION OF A 6' PALISADE FENCE
(4' PERMITTED) ALONG A PORTION OF THE NE'LY
LOT LINE BETWEEN A POINT 21' FROM S.W. 2ND
AVENUE IN A SE'LY DIRECTION TO A POINT IN
LINE WITH THE SOUTHERLY WALL OF EXISTING
STRUCTURE, ALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLAN ON
PILE IN THE PLANNING BOARD OFFICE, BEING
LOT 10, BLOCK 42, SOUTH MIAMI BLOCK 42
(1-87), LOCATED AT 191 S.W. 18TH ROAD,
SITE ZONED R-1 (ONE -FAMILY) DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board of
the City of Miami, at its meeting on September 10, 1973,
passed and adopted by a 7 to 2 vote its Resolution No. 73-178,
recommending denial of variance from Ordinance No. 6871,
Article IV, Section 17 (2), as hereinafter set forth; and
this Commission deems it advisable in the interest of the
general welfare of the City of Miami to grant this variance
requested on the ground that due to'peculiar circumstances
affecting this parcel of land practical difficulties and
unnecessary hardships would impair the owner's rights to
some reasonable use of the property under a R-1 (One -Family)
District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section. That the application for a variance from
Ordinance No. 6871, Article IV, Section 17 (2) to permit
erection of a 6' palisade fence (4' permitted) along a
portion of the Ne'ly lot line between a point 21' from S.W.
2nd Avenue in a Se'ly direction to a point in line with the
southerly wall of existing structure, all in accordance with
plan on file in the Planning Board Office, being lot 10, Block 42,
SOUTH MIAMI BLOCK 42 (1-87), located at 191 S.W. 18th Road, site
zoned R-1 (One -Family) District, be and the same is hereby granted.

Section 2. This variance shall become null and
void unless the use is commenced within six months of the
effective date of this Resolution. Extension may be granted
by the City Manager pursuant to the provisions of Article
QOCI, Section 4, of Ordinance No. 6871.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8 day of November, 1973.
