CAUTHEN TO THE Orr -STREET PARKING BOARD OP THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the five-year term of office of Mr. Marx D. Cauthen, covered by OffwStreet Parking Board Resolution No.68..328 and City Commission Resolution No.40100, will expire on December 2, 1973; and WHEREAS, the efforts, time and leadership exhibited by Mr. Cauthen have contributed to the growth and development of this area; and WHEREAS, Mr. Cauthen was reappointed to the Off -Street Parking Board on October 25, 1973 by Off -Street Parking Board Resolution No.736475; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Miami that this reappointment be confirmed: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The reappointment of Marx D. Cauthen to the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, for a five-year term from December 2, 1973 to December 2, 1978, is hereby confirmed, pursuant to Section 23•A.l of the City of Miami Charter. CAUTHEN TO THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COMMISSION THAT THIS REAPPOINTMENT BE CONFIRMED WHEREAS, Mr. Marx D. Cauthen's term of office as a member of the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami will expire on December 2, 1973 ; and WHEREAS, a member shall be named and appointed by the remaining members of the Board, subject to confirmation by the City Commission, for a term of five years; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Miami that Marx D. Cauthen be reappointed: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE OFF-STREET PARKING BOARD OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Marx D. Cauthen is hereby reappointed as a member of the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami, Florida, pursuant to Section 23-A.1 of the City of Miami Charter, for a term of five years which will expire on December 2, 1978. Section 2.• The Board hereby recommends to the City Commission that the reappointment of Marx D. Cauthen be confirmed.
