A RESOLUTION GRANTING THE CONTINUED
WAIVER OF.DEVELOPMENT OF 296 OF 488
REQUIRED OFF STREET PARKING SPACES :AS
PREVIOUSLY GRANTED BY RESOLUTION NO.
41624, PASSED AND ADOPTED JUNE 25, 1970,
FOR 391 WIT APARTMENT BUILDING FOR THE
ELDERLY LOCATED ON iNPLATTED SITE --
N.W. CORNER N.W. 18TH AVE?WE AND N.W. 28TH
STREET, AS PROVIDED IN ORDINLNCE NO. 6871,
ARTICLE XXIII, SECTION 2(3), SUBJECT TO
COMPLIANCE WITH CITY'S PARKING LOT
REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOP. THE AUTOMATIC
RENEWAL FOR ONE (1) YEAR PERIODS OF SAID
WAIVER.
WHEREAS, on June 25, 1970, the City Commission
passed and adopted Resolution No. 41624, granting a variance
from Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXIII, Section 2 (3) , as
hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, a Certificate of Occupancy was issued
October 21, 1971, No. 711381-82-82, and the Building Department
reports that several inspections have revealed adequate
available parking spaces for the premises and they recommend
continued waiver of development of 296 of 488 required off
street parking spaces as provided in Ordinance No. 6871,
Article XXIII, Section 2(3);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMKISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That a variance previously granted
by the City Commission on June 25, 1970 (Resolution No. 4162A)
to permit waiver of development of 296 of 488 required off

street parking spaces on UNPI,ATTED site - N. W. corner of
N.W. 18th Avenue and N. W. 26't.h Street for 391 unit
apartment building for the elderly for one (1) year from
date of issuance of Certificate of Occupancy issued
October 21, 1971 (No. 711381-82-82), as provided by
Ordinance No. 6871, Article XXIII, Section 2(3) is
hereby continued for a period of one (1) year from
October 21, 1973, subject to compliance with City's parking
lot requirements.
Section 2. The waiving of development of 296
of 488 required off street parking spaces located at the
real property described in Section 1 above, is automatically
renewed for one (1) year periods until such time as the
City Commission of the City of Miami shall rescind its
waiver of the development of 296 of 488 required off street
parking spaces granted herein.
