A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
TO ENTER INTO A COVENANT SUBJECTING THE
WAINWRIGHT PARK PROPERTY TO PRIOR APPROVAL
OF THE SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT BEFORE
ITS SALE, LEASE, MORTGAGE OR CREATION
OF ANY OTHER INDEBTEDNESS.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to covenant certain lands
to meet the requirements for federal funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager of the City of
Miami be and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter
into a covenant on behalf of the City of Miami subjecting
real property involved in Wainwright Park Project No.
FLA-OSA-13 (Federal), City of Miami Project No. 1531, to
the following:
"The sale, lease, mortgaging or creation of
other indebtedness or other transfer of
WAINWRIGHT PARK, or any interest therein is
and shall be subject to the prior approval
of the Secretary of Housing and Urban
Development, his designee or any successor
thereto."
